Friends, I am here to brief you about the basic module of global ISMSICS – Training program. Its my pleasure to introduce you to this important module because I believe that basic skills are ultimatley a must for all. Basic skill are important and eveyone of us need them in long run so that we lay our foundation strong.I am firm believer that learning basics is harder than it would appear. Michael Jordon has rightly said “ Get the fundemental down and the level of everything you do will rise”.
We have framed the basic module into 8 divisions followed by quiz and each division has several lecture series. We have extensively covered topics relevant like expectations from resident, patient, staff, relevant basics like anatomy physiology biochemistry cataract with diabetes uveitis and glaucoma, knowing tools and self like how to hold instruments hand eye coordiantion, different types of Anaesthesia, risks involved and basic life support during emergency, wet lab basics like simulators learning sururing , consents like basic and in patient with high risk, and finally mental and physical preparation of team.
We have collected around 54 short video clips nationally and internationally from most reputed and experienced speakers. It has been a fascinating experience and I wish all the viewers to enjoy this basic training program which is free for members.
